First Lieutenant Liu was born in Cape Canaveral, Florida 1988. He graduated from Wheaton College in 2012, with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and business. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps through the Platoon Leaders Class, Officer Commissioning Program June 2012.
Following graduation from The Basic School and Logistics Officer Course May 2013, First Lieutenant Liu was assigned as the Headquarters Company Executive Officer, CLR-15, 1st Marine Logistics Group. He currently serves as Company Commander for CLC-11.
