190622-M-QP663-0022 INDIAN OCEAN (June 22, 2019) U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Matthew Cox, a metal worker with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), uses a grinding wheel to fabricate an M240B machine gun mount aboard the Harpers Ferry-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). The Marines and Sailors of the 11th MEU are deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to support regional stability, reassure partners and allies, and maintain a presence postured to respond to any crisis ranging from humanitarian assistance to contingency operations.
