Colonel Patrick M. Tucker Commanding Officer Combat Logistics Regiment 15

Colonel Tucker is from Arlington, Texas and was commissioned through the Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps in December 1993, following graduation from Texas A&M University.

Upon graduation from Basic Officer Course and Ground Supply Officers Course, he was assigned to Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany, Georgia where he served as the Formal Schools Supply Officer and as an H&S Company Commander.

In January 1998, Colonel Tucker was assigned to the 3d Force Service Support Group Okinawa, Japan. He served as the Supply Detachment Commander for 3d FSSG Fwd in Samaesan, Thailand. Colonel Tucker then served as the Company Commander of Motor Transport Maintenance Company. Colonel Tucker finished his 3d FSSG tour as the Supply Management Unit Customer Service OIC.

In April 2000, Colonel Tucker was assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit as the Command Element Supply Officer and conducted deployments to Thailand (Cobra Gold), Korea (Foal Eagle), and Australia (Tandem Thrust).

In June 2001, Colonel Tucker was assigned to the University of Nebraska as the Marine Officer Instructor where he also served as an Officer Candidate School Platoon Commander in the summer of 2002.

Colonel Tucker attended the Army Command & General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS from 2004-2005.

In July 2005, Colonel Tucker was assigned to the 1st Marine Logistics Group where he served as the Company Commander of Material Readiness Company. In February 2006 Colonel Tucker deployed to Iraq as the Combat Logistics Regiment 15 (Forward) Future Operations Officer and as the Supply Management Unit OIC and Supply Company Commander until March 2007.

In April 2007, Colonel Tucker was assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 11 as the Executive Officer. He completed a WESTPAC deployment with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conducting Theater Security Cooperation Operations in the Maldives and Djibouti, Africa.

In June 2008, Colonel Tucker was assigned to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Headquarters. He served in the Joint Logistics Operations Center as the Plans Branch Chief, as the DLA LNO to the Joint Staff J4, and as the Executive Assistant to the DLA Director.

Colonel Tucker served as the Commanding Officer of the Defense Logistics Depot Guam, Marianas from June 2011-May 2013.

In July 2013, Colonel Tucker was assigned to the Marine Logistics Operations Group 29 Palms, CA as the Division Head of Future Logistics Development and Integration.

Colonel Tucker served as Battalion Commander of Combat Logistics Battalion 3, Kaneohe Bay HI from June 2014 to June 2016.

Colonel Tucker was a member of the Royal College of Defense Studies, London, United Kingdom from July 2017 to July 2018.

Colonel Tucker served as the Assistant Chief of Staff G4 for the 1st Marine Logistics Group I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, CA from August 2017 through May 2018.

Colonel Tucker earned an MBA from Valdosta State University (1997), and a MA in Global Commerce from Norwich University (2013).

Colonel Tucker is greatly blessed to be married to Mrs. Bonnie D. Tucker.  They have two daughters: Jenny and Jackie.
