Force protection and other safety issues are a key concern for the Marines of Combat Logistics Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group, as they carry out their deployment at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. While on guard, Lance Cpl. Nestor Tecuapetlahuanetl, a 23-year-old native of Los Angeles, checks the identification of all personnel who pass through his gate, whether they are in a vehicle, on a bicycle or walking March 30, 2006. Tecuapetlahuanetl, a truck driver with CLB 7â??s Engineer Company, is currently serving a two-week duty with the guard unit.
