The Inbound Platoon will contact new Marines before they arrive, pick them up from the airport, assign sponsors and shepherd them through the new join process in order to ensure a smooth and successful transition into Headquarters Regiment and provide their respective Battalion or company a solid foundation to further develop their Marines before they check-In with IPAC.
| |
From orders assignment until turnover to receiving units, Inbound Platoon shepherds incoming Marines through a check-In process through a personalized training and mentoring process focused on unit camaraderie and personnel sustainment in order to foster a positive and valuable foundation of knowledge and esprit de corps from which to build.
| |
| We will ensure joining Marines are properly received, protected, and indoctrinated according to Headquarters Regiment expectations. |
