For 76 years 1st MLG Marines and Sailors have proven themselves, in both peacetime and combat, across the range of military operations from the wars in Korea and Vietnam to the deserts of Kuwait and Somalia and throughout the most recent conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. After 20 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, Gunnery Sgt. Omar Hadley knew it was time to come home.
