Sergeant Major, Combat Logistics Battalion-13
Sergeant Major Jorge L. Delgadillo

Sergeant Major Delgadillo was born in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Lynwood High School, in Lynwood California in 1999 and enlisted in the Marine Corps on 24 August 1999. He underwent recruit training at MCRD San Diego, California, in which he was meritoriously promoted to Private First Class upon graduation. 
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported to the School of Infantry, Infantry Training Battalion for MOS training in November 1999. He graduated as a 0351 anti-tank assault man.  
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo served with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii where he was assigned as an A-Gunner, Gunner, team leader, section leader from January 2000 to October 2004. He deployed to Okinawa, Japan on a UDP where he attended training in MT Fuji Japan for cold weather training, as well as Australia for Operation Tandem thrust during the 7 month deployment. After returning from deployment in May 2001, he was assigned to the Fleet Assistance Program where he served as a Military Police Officer with MCBH, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii for 7 months. After returning from FAP, he deployed two more times which one was with the 31st MEU where he conducted training and stops in Thailand, Singapore, and Korea. In which he was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal, Corporal and Sergeant with this command.  
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported to Edson Range serving as a Coach, Block NCO, and a PMI for Range Company from December 2004 to December 2007. He also competed in 2006 division Matches where he won a silver medal in the piston for individual match and a Gold medal in the team match.
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported to 3rd Battalion 7th Marines, 7th Marine Regiment, where he was assigned as a Section Leader and Platoon Sergeant in Weapons Company from December 2007 to May 2011. After 2 successful deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Sergeant Major Delgadillo was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant while deployed to Iraq where he served as a Platoon Sergeant for CAAT Platoon, Weapons Company. 
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported to Recruiting School, MCRD, San Diego, California where he received orders to Recruiting Station San Diego 12th Marine Corps District. He served as a canvasing recruiter in San Bernardino and SNCOIC of Recruiting Sub Station Fontana from July 2011 to July 2014. He was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant July 2013.
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported to 2d Battalion, 4th Marines, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division he served as the H&S and Echo Company as Company Gunnery Sergeant and deployed twice with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit based out of Okinawa Japan from July 2014 to April 2017.        
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo, upon his selection to the rank of First Sergeant in 2017, reported to Combat Logistics Company 21, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2d MLG Cherry point, NC where he served as Company First Sergeant.
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo received orders to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1 MLG in 2019 to serve as the Alpha Company First Sergeant and was selected to deploy with the SPMAGTF Command Element in 2020. Upon his return he was assigned to Bravo and then H&S Company as the Company First Sergeant.
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported as the VMM 364 Sergeant Major in February 2022. During his time he was deployed to Djibouti Africa in support of Crisis Response-Africa 23.2.
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo reported to Combat Logistics Battalion 13 where he currently serves as the battalion Sergeant Major.
 
Sergeant Major Delgadillo's personal decorations include the Purple Heart Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation medal with two Gold star, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal with two Gold stars and the Combat Action Ribbon.
