Lieutenant Colonel Colin Graham, a native of the Philadelphia region, was commissioned in May 2006 through the Platoon Leaders Class commissioning program. Throughout his career, Lieutenant Colonel Graham has served in a variety of assignments.
After graduating from The Basic School in the spring of 2007, Lieutenant Colonel Graham joined the Fleet Marine Force in Okinawa, Japan, where he served as a staff officer at Combat Logistics Regiment 3 and then as the Landing Support platoon commander at Combat Logistics Battalion 31. During his time with the battalion, he deployed twice throughout Southeast Asia as part of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. In 2009, Lieutenant Colonel Graham moved to Camp Pendleton, CA and joined 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, as the assistant logistics officer, deploying in 2010 to Garmsir District, Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
Following his Afghanistan deployment, Lieutenant Colonel Graham was assigned to recruiting duty in Philadelphia as the Officer Selection Officer. In 2014, he returned to the Fleet Marine Force at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, CA and joined Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, Marine Aircraft Group 11, where he served as the Motor Transport and Headquarters & Service company commander. In 2016, Lieutenant Colonel Graham deployed to Kuwait and Bahrain as the squadron's executive officer as part of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command.
In 2018, he joined Headquarters Marine Corps, serving in Manpower Management's Officer Assignments branch as the Combat Service Support Majors Monitor. This was followed by a year serving as the aide-de-camp to the Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs.
Lieutenant Colonel Graham returned to Camp Pendleton, CA in 2021, serving as the executive officer for Combat Logistics Battalion 5, Combat Logistics Regiment 1. In 2022, he deployed with the battalion to Australia's Northern Territory as part of the Marine Rotational Force - Darwin. Following this deployment, he was transferred to I Marine Expeditionary Force, serving as the G-4's Future Operations Officer, and then to Combat Logistics Regiment 17, where he served as the regiment's executive officer while awaiting his command tour.
Lieutenant Colonel Graham graduated high school from St. Joseph's Prep (2002) and holds a BA from Catholic University (2006). He is also a graduate of Marine Corps University's resident courses at Expeditionary Warfare School (2014) and Marine Corps Command and Staff College (2018), where he earned a Masters in Military Studies.
