Sergeant Major Brian Price reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California on 11 July 2005 for recruit training. Upon
graduation, he reported to Personnel Administration School, Camp Johnson, North Carolina. Upon graduation of Administrative
Clerks Course he was assigned Military Occupational Specialty of 0151 and assigned to 2d Marine Division.
In 2007, he was then assigned to II Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD) and deployed to Fallujah, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom where he served as a personnel/operations clerk and promoted to the rank of Corporal.
In 2009, he was then assigned to 2d Marine Expeditionary Brigade - Afghanistan and deployed in support of Operation Enduring
Freedom and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
In June 2010, he reported to Personnel Administration School, Camp Johnson as the School's Administrative Chief.
In December 2010, Sergeant Major Price reported to Marine Corpos Activity - Guam and served as the Administrative Chief.
In December 2011, Sergeant Major Price received orders to the Installation Personnel Administration Center, Marine Corps Air Station
Miramar, California. During this time, he served as the Pay/TAD NCOIC, Deployments NCOIC. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant
and then served as the Customer Service SNCOIC.
In April 2015, Sergeant Major Price received orders to 1st Intelligence Battalion where he served as the S-1 Chief.
In August 2016, Sergeant Major Price reported to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit where he served as the S-1 Chief. During this
time, Sergeant Major Price participated in Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) operations in the U.S. Virgin Islands and
Puerto Rico aboard the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3). He also deployed to 5th and 6th Fleet Areas of Operation aboard the USS Iwo Jima
(LHD-7). He was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in February 2018.
In November 2018. Sergeant Major Price reported to the School of Infantry - East. During this time, Sergeant Major Price served as the
Admin Service Center SNCOIC.
In July 2019, Sergeant Major Price reported to Combat Instructor School. Upon graduation, he was assigned to Marine Combat
Training Battalion where he served as a Combat Instructor, Battalion Logistics Chief, and Company Gunnery Sergeant.
In June 2021, Sergeant Major Price reported to Manpower Management Division, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps where he served as
the Officer Promotions Chief (MMPR-1).
In April 2022, Sergeant Major Price was promoted to the rank of First Sergeant and reported to The Basic School where he served as
Company First Sergeant for Company D, Basic Officer Course 4-22 and Company I, Warrant Officer Basic Course 1-23.
In June 2023, Sergeant Major Price assumed the duties and responsibilities as the Battalion Sergeant Major for Combat Instructor
Battalion, The Basic School.
In July 2024, Sergeant Major Price reported to 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division where he served as Unit Senior
Enlisted Leader for Company C and Headquarters and Service Company.
In June 2025, Sergeant Major Price assumed the billet as the Headquarters and Service Battalion Sergeant Major.
Sergeant Major Price's personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (w/ 3
gold stars), and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (w/ 3 gold stars).
