A native of Lima, Ohio, Lieutenant Colonel Paxton attended Officer Candidates School and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in August 2009. After completing the Basic Officers Course and the Ground Supply Officers Course, she reported to Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 2d Marine Logistics Group, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where she deployed as the Battalion Supply Officer in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 11-2. Upon return from the deployment, she served as the Battalion Assistant Logistics Officer until May 2013.
From May 2013 to July 2016, Lieutenant Colonel Paxton was assigned to Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific where she served as the N4 Logistics Director and interim N8 Director, providing logistics and fiscal support to the EWTGPAC programs of instruction. Following her assignment at EWTGPAC, Lieutenant Colonel Paxton executed orders to Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, Virginia.
Upon graduation from Expeditionary Warfare School in May 2017, Lieutenant Colonel Paxton executed orders to 1st Radio Battalion, I MEF Information Group, where she served as the Battalion Supply Officer and Headquarters and Service Company Commander. Following the completion of her assignment at 1st Radio Battalion in July 2019, Lieutenant Colonel Paxton returned to Quantico to attend the Marine Corps Command and Staff College.
Lieutenant Colonel Paxton executed orders to Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California in June 2020 where she was assigned as a Faculty Advisor for the Advanced Expeditionary Logistics Operations Course. She served in this capacity for three years in support of the MCLOG programs of instruction and Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command’s Service Level Training Program.
In July 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Paxton executed orders to the 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division where she served as the Regiment Logistics Officer until July 2025, managing logistics support to pre-deployment training workups for multiple Unit Deployment Program rotations and Service Level Training Exercises.
In July 2025 Lieutenant Colonel Paxton returned to Marine Corps Logistics Operations Group where she served as the Training Department Head and Course Chief for the Advanced Expeditionary Logistics Operations Course until May 2026.
Lieutenant Colonel Paxton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University, a Master of Military Studies from Marine Corps University and a Master of Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University.
