Lieutenant Colonel Patton was born and raised in Southeast Alabama. She was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in December 2006 after graduating from Auburn University with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.
Following completion of The Basic School and Logistics Officer Course, Second Lieutenant Patton reported to Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3, where she served as the Squadron Logistics Officer. In June of 2009, First Lieutenant Patton transferred to Marine Wing Support Squadron 372 where she served as the Motor Transportation Company Commander, Assistant Operations Officer, and Headquarters Company Commander. While serving as the Motor Transportation Company Commander, she deployed to Helmand Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
In 2011, Captain Patton completed the Army’s Combined Logistics Captains Career Course in Fort Lee, Virginia. Following completion of school, she reported to Combat Logistics Regiment 2 where she served as the Current Operations Officer throughout the regiment’s deployment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Following this deployment, she served as the Assistant Operations Officer for Combat Logistics Regiment 2 and as the Battalion Operations Officer for Combat Logistics Battalion 8 and Combat Logistics Battalion 6.
In 2015, Captain Patton reported to The Basic School where she served as a Warfighting Instructor, Staff Platoon Commander, Basic Officer Course Company Commander, Maneuver Section Head, and as the S-4 Logistics Officer.
Following her assignment at The Basic School, Major Patton attended Marine Corps Command and Staff College at Marine Corps University in Quantico, Virginia where she obtained a Master’s Degree of Military Science.
Following completion of school, she served as the Logistics Officer for the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit from 2019 to 2021. During this period, she deployed to Moron, Spain as the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force Crisis Response Africa Logistics Officer.
In July of 2021, Major Patton reported to 2d Marine Logistics Group Headquarters where she served as the Group Operations Officer and Deputy G-3. During this tour, she deployed in support of Operations ALLIES REFUGE and ALLIES WELCOME as the Deputy G-3 for Task Force Quantico. In July of 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Patton reported to 1st Marine Logistics Group to serve as the G-3 Operations Officer.
Lieutenant Colonel Patton’s personal awards include Meritorious Service Medal with 3 Gold Stars, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with 2 Gold Stars, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
