A native of The Woodlands, Texas, LtCol Stocker graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps on 24 May 2002. After graduating from The Basic School in January 2003, she attended Logistics Operations School and reported to Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Lieutenant Stocker served as the Maintenance Management Officer for four months before serving as the Battalion S-4A, Armory Officer, and Fieldmess Platoon Commander. In 2003 Lieutenant Stocker served on the Battalion intramural shooting team, graduating from coach’s course with an AMOS of 8530, and she attended Ground Safety Officer’s Course, earning the AMOS 9956. During 2004, Lieutenant Stocker attended Team Embarkation Officer’s Course, Maritime Prepositioning Force Course, Tactical Logistics Operations Course, and Mishap Investigation Course (Ashore).
Lieutenant Stocker deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom from February 2005 to March 2006 as the S-4 Officer for more than 2,000 Marines in Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division. During this deployment she also served as the Project Purchasing Officer/Field Ordering Officer, and Assistant Camp Commandant for Camp Blue Diamond in Ar Ramadi, Iraq.
Upon return from deployment, Lieutenant Stocker reported to Manpower Management Enlisted Assignments in Quantico, Virginia, in July 2006 where she graduated from Monitor School and was promoted to Captain in January 2007. She served as the Assistant Unit Head and then the Unit Head for the twelve Combat Service Support enlisted monitors, traveling on numerous recruiting screening teams and monitor road shows to Marine Corps bases throughout the world.
In July 2009 Captain Stocker reported to Expeditionary Warfare School and graduated in May 2010. In June 2010 she executed orders to Marine Wing Support Squadron-372 at Camp Pendleton, California. She served as the Squadron S-4 Officer for three months before being selected as the aide-de-camp to the Deputy Commanding General of I Marine Expeditionary Force. Capt Stocker served as the aide-de-camp from September 2010 through April 2012. She was selected for the rank of Major in December 2011.
Captain Stocker reported to the United States Naval Academy in May 2012 and completed her Masters Degree in Professional Studies, in Leadership and Education Development in May 2013 through the University of Maryland. She was promoted to the rank of Major on 1 September 2013 and served as the 7th Company Officer at the United States Naval Academy until May 2015. Major Stocker reported to 1st Transportation Support Battalion in June 2015 and served as the Battalion Operations Officer for one year, then as the Battalion Executive Officer for two years.
In July 2018 Major Stocker reported to The Basic School, Marine Corps Base Quantico, where she served as the Logistics Officer through July 2019. Major Stocker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on 3 June 2019 and was reassigned to the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory where she served in Current Operations through May 2020. LtCol Stocker assumed command of 1st Transportation Support Battalion on 15 June 2020.
LtCol Stocker’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four gold stars in lieu of fifth award), and the Meritorious Service Medal.
