U.S. Navy Master Chief Loren Rucker, the off-going Command Master Chief with 1st Marine Logistics Group, reports to Brigadier General Phillip N. Frietze, the commanding general of 1st MLG, during a change of charge ceremony at Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 15, 2023. The Command Master Chief functions as a naval enlisted advisor to the commander in order to facilitate naval integration and keep the command aware of the welfare and morale of its Sailors.
