Trilk, left, landing support specialist with Landing Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, takes account of Marines from 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, conducting an amphibious landing during Exercise Steel Knight 2014 aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Dec. 11, 2013. The Marines supported ship-to-shore operations of 1st LAR by coordinating the amphibious landing portion of the exercise. SK14 is a large-scale, combined arms, live-fire exercise that integrates aviation and logistical support from 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and 1st MLG. Steel Knight tests 1st MLG’s capabilities of supporting a large scale operation.
