(From left to right) Petty Officer 3rd Class Brandy Almeida, Petty Officer 3rd Class Andrew Goffney and Petty Officer 3rd Class Alexander Mills, all corpsmen attached to Combat Logistics Regiment 1 from Bravo Surgical Company, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, treat a simulated patient as part of a drill in the Shock Trauma Platoon during Exercise Steel Knight 2014 aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Training Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Dec. 13. During the exercise, sailors with 1st Med. Bn. set up an STP and a Forward Resuscitative Surgical System to treat simulated casualties. These facilities provide patients with medical attention that will enable them to move to the next line of care in a more stable condition.
