U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 1 (CLR-1) operate Logistics Vehicle Service Replacement's (LVSR) during exercise Brilliant Scepter aboard Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, Coronado, Calif., February 18, 2014. Marines from CLR-1, Combat Logistics Battalion 5, and 7th Engineer Support Battalion worked along side naval units to conduct Maritime Prepositioning Force (MPF) training in preparation for their upcoming deployment to Jordan as part of Operation Eager Lion. MPF's serve as a naval power projection capability that supports the deployment and employment of Naval and Marine forces worldwide.
