Jonathan Arevalo, from Brooklyn, New York, and Pfc. Carlos Effiogalvez, from New York City, how to turn valves to control water flow into a 50,000 gallon bag during the bulk fuel Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation on Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 12, 2016. By using water from Lake O’Neill, the Marines were able to simulate the process of pumping fuel from ship to shore in an expeditionary environment.
