CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Vella Jackson, a food service specialist with Food Service Company, Headquarters Regiment, 1st Marine Logistics Group, dresses a wound with gauze during the practical application portion of a combat lifesaver course July 22, 2017. The CLS course provides Marines with experience in a realistic, high stress environment, as well as instructional knowledge and techniques necessary to provide effective combat lifesaving training for medical personnel and selective Marines.
