U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, offload a medium tactical vehicle replacement truck from a U.S. Navy landing craft air cushion during an amphibious assault while participating in Steel Knight 20 at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California on Dec. 6, 2019. Steel Knight is an annual exercise that spans the western United States and California coast. It focuses on command and control capabilities, ground fires and maneuver warfare tactics, while testing Marines and sailors across a range of environments and preparing to counter aggression against a near-peer threat.
