Staff Sgt. Robert J. Ryan, expeditionary contracting specialist, Expeditionary Contracting Platoon, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, receives the Expeditionary Contracting Team of the Year award on behalf of the platoon during an award ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 25, 2020. Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea, Commanding General, 1st MLG, I MEF presented the ECP this award for their exceptional expeditionary contracting support while serving as contracting officers and operational contract support specialists for nine separate deployments in addition to nine exercises with onsite expeditionary contracting support as well as comprehensive reach back support.
