A V-22 Osprey carries an external load attached by landing support Marines with Headquarters and Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, prepare a sling at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., July 18. While attaching the load, the Osprey was hovering less than ten feet above the heads of the LS Marines, who were attaching the load in support of Exercise Mojave Viper as they prepare to deploy to Afghanistan later this year.
