A picture of Cpl. David A. Bass stands next to a memorial used to remember his life. A memorial service was held for him April 8, 2006 at Camp Taqaddum, Iraq. Bass, a disbursing pay agent, was killed April 2, 2006 when the vehicle he was riding in flipped over during a flash flood near al-Asad airbase.
