Exuberant cheers erupt from servicemembers in Camp Taqaddum?s main dining facility after a karaoke performance on March 17, 2006. Camp Taqaddum?s base operations section teamed up with the Morale, Welfare and Recreation department to organize the karaoke night in an effort to break up the day-to-day routine servicemembers face while deployed. The base, home to nearly 8,000 service members and civilians, is a main logistics hub for U.S. troops in the Al Anbar province and is located near the restive cities of Fallujah and Ramadi.
