Purple Heart recipients, machine gunners Cpl. Jimmy D. Miller and Cpl. Charles J. Trask with Security Platoon, Combat Logistics Company 117, Combat Logistic Battalion 7, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Fwd), display their medals in their hands. Both Marines were awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained while engaged in operations in the Al Anbar Province.
