Cpl. Derek J. Bairsto, 21, a heavy equipment operator with Engineer Company, Marine Support Squadron 373, 3rs Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), operates a front loader to spread gravel while engaging in a route repair mission in Combat Outpost Falcon, Iraq. Accomplishing much-needed improvements, the Marines worked hard and successfully provided a face lift to the outpost. The facilities currently house infantry Marines with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, 1st Marine Division.
