COP GANNON II, Iraq (June 27, 2008) - Lt. Col. David J. Eskelund, battalion commander, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group and Warrant Officer David D. Clerk, support platoon commander, Engineer Company, CLB-6, look over the new location that will be replacing Gannon I. Eskelund and Battalion Sergeant Major Wayne O. Gallman, visited seven locations CLB-6 conducts operations from. The purpose of the visit was to speak face-to-face with their Marines and check on the improvements on projects being built. They also checked the serviceability of equipment vital to mission accomplishment. The locations visited were at Korean Village, Al-Qaim, Haditha Dam, Gannon II, Tripoli, Rawah and Anah.
