AT-TAQADDUM, Iraq (August 4, 2008) – Sabine M. Glascoe, Morale, Welfare and Recreation technician, with Kellogg, Brown and Root, sorts through books donated to the Camp Taqaddum library for service members here, Aug. 4. Thousands of books, magazines, digital visual disks, games and snacks were sent by the Wounded Warrior Family Support Group. The organization hosts fundraisers with all proceeds going to the troops. “The items are sent here for the service members to use,” said Glascoe. The library receives an average of 15 boxes full of books daily. The items donated are distributed to forward operating bases throughout Iraq.
