AT-TAQADDUM, Iraq (August 9, 2008) – Catchpenny rocks Camp Taqaddum during a free concert for the troops, Aug. 9. During a break from the pop-rock show, the band spoke with service members and handed out compact discs. Catchpenny will perform 14 shows during their 20-day tour of the Middle East. The five-member band will entertain deployed United States troops in Kuwait, Iraq and United Arab Emirates. “I’m happy to be out here doing something positive for our country,” said Christian Schauf, lead singer of Catchpenny. More than 100 service members and civilians came from all over the base to enjoy the concert.
