AL-KABANI, Iraq (October 6, 2008) – Petty Officer 2nd Class Stanley D. Ponder, a religious program specialist, with 2d Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, 29, from Atlanta, unloads school supplies and snacks from a 7-ton truck at the Kabani School, Oct. 6. The goods were donated and shipped from the United States to help the Iraqi children. “It feels good to support this country because they need our help,” said Lance Cpl. Dever C.
