Sgt. David R. Fletcher, 25, from Forks, Wash., security unit leader for 3rd Squad, Security Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 5, 1st Marine Logistics Group, briefs his Marines on their upcoming mission here Dec. 20. Security Co. ensures that convoys reach their destination safely by providing security throughout the trip. Fletcher was receiving on the job training at a maximum security prison in Callam Bay while pursuing his criminal justice degree at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Wash., before being called back to active duty in the Marine Corps.
