HM3 Guofeng Xu, dental assistant with 1st Dental Detachment, Charlie Surgical Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 15 (Forward), 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), uses a Ultra Violet light as he assist in performing dental work on a black lab named “Taker” on November 1, 2010 on Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan. Taker who is a bomb sniffing dog with the 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division in support of the I Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), was brought in to have a root canal.
