Josh Davis, heavy equipment operator, Heavy Equipment Platoon, Support Company, 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), fills a dump truck while conducting road-improvement operations in Sangin, Afghanistan, Dec. 9. Marines with 8th ESB conducted road-improvement operations in order to provide a safer route for Afghan locals and coalition forces in the area.
