Lance Cpl. Travis Metrovich, air delivery specialist, Air Delivery, Landing Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, tightens the straps on a bundle of Meals Ready to Eat at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 15. Marines new to Air Delivery received hands-on training of how to properly secure items that will be dropped, in order to prepare them for their deployment to Afghanistan next year.
