Landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 4, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) support 20 to 40 incoming and outgoing flights per week at Forward Operating Base Now Zad, Afghanistan. Three junior Marines run the entire Arrival/Delivery Airfield Control Group and are responsible for the aerial transport of all passengers and cargo coming in and out of the FOB.
