Chief Warrant Officer 2 Myers enlisted in the Marine Corps in January 1995 and completed recruit training at MCRD Parris Island.  Following recruit training; Private Myers attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Geiger and the Motor Transport Maintenance School at Camp Johnson where he was promoted to Private First Class.  Upon completion, he was assigned the MOS of 3521.

Private First Class Myers reported to 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Okinawa, Japan in December of 1995 for duty as a 3rd Echelon MT Mechanic.  During this tour he was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal and assigned duties as Quality Control NCO.

Lance Corporal Myers was then transferred to MWSS 274 Cherry Point in December of 1997 as a line mechanic.  He was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Corporal and assumed the duties of Shop Chief.  Shortly after assuming his new duties he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Sergeant Myers was then transferred back to 3rd Maintenance Battalion, Okinawa, Japan in January 2001 as the III MEF LVS Brake Modification NCOIC.  Sergeant Myers attended the Sergeants Course and received honors as the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Essay award winner which later changed the way all NCO promotion warrants are written.  In December 2002 Sergeant Myers was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and assumed the duties as the Maintenance Chief and later as a Platoon Commander for Motor Transport Maintenance Company.

Staff Sergeant Myers was then transferred to Marine Combat Training Battalion in June 2005 as a Combat Instructor.  In October 2007 Staff Sergeant Myers was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.  Gunnery Sergeant Myers reported to the Staff Noncommissioned Officers Academy as a student for the Advanced Course in March 2008, he graduated as an Honor Graduate.  Gunnery Sergeant Myers completed his special duty assignment in June 2008.

Gunnery Sergeant Myers then reported to 2d MLG for duty as the 2D MLG G-4 MT Coordinator in June 2007.  Gunnery Sergeant Myers deployed to OIF 9-1 and 9-2 for 13 months as the 2D MLG MT Coordinator.  During this deployment he was selected for appointment as a Warrant Officer.

Following The Basic School, Warrant Officer Myers reported for duty at MWSS 373, Miramar, California as the squadrons’ maintenance officer and Platoon Commander.  He was promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 in August of 2011.  In August of 2012 Chief Warrant Officer 2 Myers deployed to OEF 12-2 for seven months.

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Myers reported to Combat Logistics Company 11 for duty as the Executive Officer and Maintenance Officer in August 2013 to present.

Chief Warrant Officer 2 Myers’s awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal 3rd, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal 4th award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Navy Unit Commendation, Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and the NATO Medal-ISAF.
