Command Master Chief, 1st Marine Logistics Group
CMDCM Myla Presco

Command Master Chief Presco is a native of Cavite, Philippines.  She enlisted in the Navy in September 1992 and attended Basic Training at Recruit Training Command in Orlando, Florida.  She attended Storekeeper “A” school in Meridian, Mississippi.

She served in a myriad of shore duty assignments to include Naval Regional Contracting Center (NRCC) Singapore as Fleet Logistics Support Representative, Commander Naval Personnel Command as a “SK” detailer and NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella as Senior Enlisted Leader.

Her sea duty assignments include USS SAMUEL GOMPERS (AD-37) where she completed a six month Western Pacific deployment, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Four (NMCB Four), USS ESSEX (LHD-2) where she completed various deployments including humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations in EAST TIMOR and FOAL EAGLE, as well as a successful HULLSWAP with USS BELLEAUWOOD (LHA-3), forward-deployed USS COWPENS (CG-63) where she completed various deployments to include ANNUALEX, FOAL EAGLE, EXERCISE TALISMAN SABER, VALIANT SHIELD 2007 and US-Japan EXERCISE KEEN SWORD.

She completed an IA/GSA tour with CENTCOM Deployment Distribution and Operations Center, deployed to Kuwait in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. 

Her tours as a Command Master Chief include USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL (DDG-81), Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and USS SOMERSET (LPD-25), and Afloat Training Group Pacific/Afloat Training Group San Diego. She assumed the duties as CMC of 1st Marine Logistics Group February 2023.

Command Master Chief Presco is a graduate of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Academy, Navy Senior Leadership Symposium and Command Master Chief Course in Newport, RI.  Her personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Joint Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (7 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
