Corporal Paul A. Riley, combat engineer, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, receives his graduation certificate from Sgt. Maj. John W. Scott, the 15th MEU sergeant major, on the troop mess decks of USS Peleliu during Corporals' Course graduation, March 15. Corporals' Course is a professional military education for enlisted Marines designed to give corporals the tools to become more effective small unit leaders. The 15th MEU is deployed as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group as a U.S. Central Command theater reserve force, providing support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
