McElearney, outgoing sergeant major, and Sgt. Maj. Rudy S. Gonzales, incoming sergeant major, 7th ESB. McElearney is heading to Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C., to assume command of Marine Attack Squadron 231.
