Corporal Juan Lopez-Ayala, corporal-of-the-guard and finance technician with Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, maintains accountability of personnel and equipment during a 1st MLG combat operations center exercise aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 25, 2013. The exercise was conducted to practice command and control at the group level. CLR-17 coordinated with other units within 1st MLG such as CLR-1, CLR-15, Combat Logistics Battalion 15 and 7th Engineer Support Battalion.
