Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, conduct a combat conditioning hike aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 24, 2014. The almost 10-mile hike improved the regiment’s unit cohesion and combat readiness. To become comfortable using their M50 gas masks, the Marines hiked more than a mile wearing them. The hike was the fourth iteration of a series of hikes to condition the Marines and sailors.
