1st MLG commanding general visits Marines and sailors aboard Anchorage

Brigadier Gen. Vincent A. Coglianese, commanding general, 1st Marine Logistics Group, speaks to Lieutenant Cmdr. Jennifer L. Forbes, executive officer of amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23), March 20, 2014. Anchorage, with embarked Marines from 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, was off the coast of California conducting amphibious warfare certification training. The Marines will conduct aircraft landing operations, live-fire training, martial arts and other drills in order to maintain their position as an expeditionary force in readiness.
