Bulk fuel and water purification Marines from 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, maintain nearly a million gallons of purified water during an annual training exercise aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 13, 2016 to increase readiness and fulfill their yearly requirements as a reserve unit. 7th ESB, 1st Marine Logistics Group, supported their reserve counterparts with the gear necessary to pump water nearly 3 miles from the ocean at Red Beach to a training area where they practiced setting up and maintaining massive stores of water.
