U.S. Marines Cpl. Jesse Gunderson and Lance Cpl. Juan Cerda attach tow cables from the AMK-36 wrecker vehicle to a broken Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement at Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, Calif., Oct. 23, 2016. The AMK-36 wrecker recovery vehicle’s heavy tow capability made it possible for the Marines to get the immobile MTVR back down to the base of the mountain. Gunderson, a wrecker operator and Cerda, a motor transportation technician, are both with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
