U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Devin Schmidt, a combat engineer with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, swings his sledgehammer at one of the dams being demolished at Cleveland National Forest in Silverado, Calif., to make a hole for an explosive on March 21, 2017.
