U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Arianna S. Figueroa, food service specialist, Food Service Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, was awarded a Certificate of Commendation during an award ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 25, 2020. Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea, Commanding General, 1st MLG, I MEF, presented Figueroa this award for demonstrating excellent performance above her peers in the 2nd Quarter Fiscal Year 2020, Culinary Team of the Quarter Competition. Her contributions to the team’s first place finish highlighted her commitment to the improving the culinary arts and food service operations at bases and air stations within the region.
