U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Andrew J. Collins, expeditionary contracting specialist, Expeditionary Contracting Platoon, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, is awarded the Expeditionary Contracting Professional of the Year award during an award ceremony at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Aug. 25, 2020. Collins was presented the award by Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea, Commanding General, 1st MLG, I MEF for his accomplishments executing 25 contracting actions with a cumulative amount of over $500 thousand and coordinating two major external support contracts valued at over $900 thousand.
