U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Kudy L. Jim, a company clerk with Motor Transport Company A, 1st Transportation Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, was awarded a $500 check by Brig. Gen. Bobbi Shea, commanding general, 1st Marine Logistics Group, during a 1st MLG Innovation Awards Program ceremony on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Apr. 19, 2021. Jim received the check for significantly improving the process of battle tracking within a Combat Operations Center by developing a comprehensive system with built-in redundancy during Exercise Steel Knight 21.
