Sgt. Manuel Antillon, a cook with Food Service Co., and his wife, Grace, complete an information form at a predeployment brief at the Abby Reinke Community Center at Camp Pendleton to provide Antillon's unit with his wife's emergency contact information in case she needs to be contacted while he is deployed. The brief provided the spouses and family members with information they could possibly need in the event of an emergency or unexpected hardship while the servicemember is deployed. Approximately 500 Marines from BSSG 1, composed of approximately whose ranks include drivers, cooks, lawyers and military police among many other specialties, will be deploying in the coming weeks to Iraq's Al Anbar Province and will be part of the force that supports the nearly 25,000 Marines and Sailors slated to deploy as the I Marine Expeditionary Force's forward element.
