The two combat engineers serve with Engineer Company, Combat Battalion 5-2, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), a unit that builds and repairs roads, installs force protection barriers and maintains utilities for outposts and vehicle checkpoints in and around Fallujah. The company works mostly at night, taking full advantage of the ?magic window? provided by the Iraqi curfew, said Chief Warrant Officer Anthony J. Reiter, commander of Operations Platoon.
