Brooklyn, NY. native Gunnery Sgt. Edwardo Espinal, a 32-year-old staff noncommissioned officer in charge of initial issue provisioning, Combat Logistics Regiment 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group, stands at attention during the Marine Corps Hymn. Standing beside Espinal is one of his junior Marines, Lance Cpl. Tierra D. Paught, a warehouse clerk for IIP, CLR 15, 1st MLG, and a 25-year-old native of Chicago. Talking with the older service members without so much regard to rank helps communication, and helps the senior enlisted and officers show their junior service members support, said Seaman Christopher L. Daniel, a 20-year-old corpsman with Military Police Company, CLR-15, 1st MLG and a native of Barnesville, Ga.
